We were thrilled to be able to send Eagan, MN TreeHouse teens on a remarkable road trip out west. Teens enjoyed the opportunity to visit South Dakota locations including Keystone, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, Badlands National Park, and the Black Hills. The teens related to and enjoyed Crazy Horse the most, and were struck by the public support for the memorial.
These trips are always a highlight in all of our teens’ TreeHouse journeys. By creating intentional opportunities for our teens to fellowship, get away, and grow together, we can see firsthand the transformation that takes place in these young people.
The success of TreeHouse and programs, like our summer trips, is truly not possible without our donors, volunteers, and of course, our teens. We’re grateful.
