TreeHouse programs and curriculum were designed by Christian mental health professionals to be facilitated by leaders who don’t specifically have professional mental health training. We designed our programming for accessibility and scalability—from a handful of teens to large youth groups—making group size irrelevant to success.
TreeHouse has invested heavily in creating accessible, online, video-based training for ministry professionals, lay leaders and volunteers. This training is designed to make it possible to produce quality youth programming that is relevant and effective.
TreeHouse coaches youth leaders as they navigate the complex, changing landscape of ministry to teens. We want every leader to feel known and supported.
TreeHouse’s curriculum is designed to help teens center their identity on Christ while building the developmental assets necessary to become resilient adults.
Your teens will participate in a twice-yearly survey. Data is evaluated by TreeHouse using consistent analysis from survey to survey, and you will be provided with measured outcomes for your programs.
We offer an optional online CRM for tracking teens and volunteers and a companion teen app that can be used to request rides, sign up for events, and share lesson resources.

TreeHouse is more than just a curriculum. It’s a model that is designed to meet the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of teens in every community. We know you’re stretched thin, and that’s why the model can be scaled for any nonprofit size and any staffing capacity.
Teens develop deep relationships with mentors as they process what comes up in Support Group.
Students learn social and emotional skills by processing their week’s emotions together in a faith-neutral environment.
We believe that Christ is the center of the transformation we want to see in every teen’s life. That’s why we require each nonprofit to offer faith-forward programming such as Bible studies or large group events—curriculum for this is included.

We focus the TreeHouse programs and curriculum on instilling deep biblical truth while taking into consideration trusted youth development research from Search Institute’s internal developmental assets.
At TreeHouse, safety doesn’t mean lack of challenge. Instead, we believe that a truly safe place must challenge teens’ thinking and behaviors to help them grow and mature. For TreeHouse, a safe place is an environment where your mistakes don’t define you, and where you’re met with love and grace–even at your lowest.
Our training and programs lean on evidence-based research focusing on what helps students develop resiliency as they mature in their relationship with Christ. We lean into three areas of focus: caring relationships, high expectations, and the opportunity to participate.
We recognize the Imago Dei in each student, regardless of their location on the faith journey, we treat each person with dignity and respect. In our Christ-centered programs, we show teens the truth about themselves and the world from Scripture, and then help them live out that truth.
